Abstract

The facing edges (3, 4) of the sections (1, 2) are spaced apart by the exact thickness of the connecting-pieces (5) placed here and there in the gap. Each connecting-piece (15) consists of two U-shaped parts (6, 7) with the webs resting against the edges of the sections and fixed, by means of a screw for example. The two side-pieces (10, 11) of each U-section extend towards the corresponding side-pieces of the other part resting against the edge of the other section. The ends of the side-pieces can be bolted together. The two parts form a channel (13) between them for electric cables (14) for instance. The side-pieces (10, 11) have projections (15) which join together.
