Abstract

The ferrule (V) has a closed end formed by a cover (C) which is fitted in the base of the ferrule after the bristles (T) have been placed in the ferrule. The brush is manufactured by placing the ferrule, complete with bristles, in a mould which has the shape of the handle (M). A synthetic resin is then introduced to form the handle and fix the ferrule. The cover (C) can be placed either in the interior of the ferrule or on the exterior. In the latter case the ferrule has projections on its exterior face and the extremity of the handle has matching hollows.
