Abstract

The top of the container (1) has a central orifice (3) with pointed edges (21). The top is made of a relatively hard material. The rotating cover (10) has a conical shaft (12) which is forced into the orifice. The material of the shaft is relatively soft. When the shaft has been pushed in far enough to bring the lower surface (23) of the cover in contact with the top of the container (24), the edge of the orifice presses against the shaft hard enough to form a groove (22). Slight rotation of the cover aids the deformation. The lip (21) and the groove (22) prevent separation of the parts.
