Abstract

An air regeneration filter comprises an oxygen-emitting and CO2-binding chemical and a drying agent, contained in a vessel with friction-fit end caps, and is intended esp. for attachment to a circulation fan. The filter permits two directions of flow and is marked externally to show the correct direction for the climatic conditions. The drying agent, near one of the vessel openings, constitutes 10-50(25-30)% of the total contents. Pref. drying agent is alumina gel, pref. in the form of 2-10 (4-8) mm dia. spherical grains. Device is used for air regeneration in closed, unventilated spaces. Oxygen prodn. can be regulated to suit demand.
