Abstract

The appts. consists of a cylinder and articulated arms forming a support, the exterior being fixed. It has a motor or driving element which gives vibratory action relative to perofrations and teeth. The perforations are parallel to the cylinder length and run for its full length. Under the action of the vibrator the fruit is sliced and put under the action of steam jets and then washed by water jets. Other cutting and slicing devices may also be fitted.
