Abstract
The arrow body is profiled section in the form of a star, X, Y etc., giving rigidity, stability, force of penetration and ease of straightening. Compared with conventional round-section arrow shafts the weight is reduced, and it is particularly for use with underwater harpoon guns. The cross section can have up to six branches arranged either symmetrically or asymmetrically.
