Abstract

An extinguisher comprises a sheet of fire-resistant material, pref. fibreglass, a sheet of heat-rupturable material, pref. polyethylene, attached by direct contact to at least one side of the first sheet to form an enclosure, and fire-extinguishing material contained in the enclosure. An enclosure may be formed on both sides of the fire-resistant sheet, and an additional amt. of extinguishing material may be contained in >=1 additional enclosures formed by attaching a further heat-rupturable sheet to the first rupturable sheet.
