Abstract

The sender has a differentiating element to which the signals to be transmitted are applied. A bistable switching means at the receiver is tripped by the transmitted signals into its one or the other state. The differentiating circuit consists of a bistable flip-flop receiving the signal to be transmitted with clock pulses, and delivering a delayed signal, and of a transformer whose primary winding is inserted between the signal source and the flip-flop output. Alternatively it consists of two flip-flops, of which the first receives the signal and first clock pulses, and the second the output of the first and second clock pulses, and of a transformer whose primary winding is connected to the outputs of the two flip-flops. The second clock pulses are derived by an inverter from the first.
