Abstract

Two separate pieces of plastic, either transparent or coloured, are used. One forms the base (1) and is bent at right angles, using a large radius, to give a U shape with incurved ends. A projecting leaf on each side is curved outwards to form arm rests. The second piece (2) is approximately rectangular in shape and is curved along its longitudinal axis to provide a support for the body. A cut-out is provided each side and the two parts are fitted together by means of spherical stainless steel connectors (3) at the rear, one each side, provided with locating slots.
