Abstract
The machine comprises a fixed jig in two parts, each part supporting a shaft around which a rotating central test specimen support oscillates. The supports are capable of receiving two coaxially opposed test specimens (9, 10) whose opposite ends are anchored in two inertia flywheel supports (7) which oscillate about axes in the fixed jig perpendicular to their own axes of rotation and intersecting these in the middle area of the test specimens. The test specimens are eccentrically anchored in the oscillating supports with respect to the rotational axes of the supports such that the anchorage axes intersect the axes of the supports at the points where they intersect their axes of oscillation.
