Abstract

The machine places the ribbon in position inside a box, and comprises a first mechanism delivering the boxes placed on supports receiving the top and bottom, placed alongside each other in the open position of the box, and a succession of processing mechanisms along the box track. These consist, in sequence, of a ribbon feed, a cut ribbon distributor working in conjunction with a ribbon holder, a ribbon pre-gluing mechanism, a mechanism completing the gluing operation, and an ejector. The boxes can be coveyed through the various processing mechanisms by a rotary plate, or a chain conveyor.
