Abstract

To give a steady supply to the burner whatever the state of charge, the cartridge (2) has an internal pipe (5) extending radially, with an orifice (6) near the periphery, and also a datum mark (7) to ensure that the cartridge is always placed with the orifice at the top in relation to the liquid contents, where the burner uses gas, or at the bottom where it uses liquid. The datum mark can be in the form of a protuberance or recess formed in the casing, and the equipment in which the cartridge fits can incorporate a cradle with a complementary portion engaging with the recess or protuberance, so that the cartridge can only be installed in one position.
