Abstract

The element has an included angle of approx. 135 degrees so that one arm forms the wall and the other forms the roof or one side of the sloping roof of an easily constructed shelter for permanent or temporary use. It is pref. in glass fibre reinforced polyester, and has stiffening ribs running vertically to the plane of the intersection between the arms, and a flange on the outer surface of the arms so that adjacent elements can be joined with bolts. A building may be formed by using elements arranged each side of the longitudinal axis of the building, and adding a front and back, or the elements can form a lean-to shelter.
