Abstract

The electrical connector clamp for adaption of an electrical conductor with insulation is characterised in that from one edge of a conductive, plane foot plate a pair of sidewise to each other deposed cutting arms may arise from opposite edges of the foot plate. The upper portion of the arm edges are opened up and have means for penetrating the wire insulation. The wire is pressed from above into the opening arm pair and the depth to which it can be pressed down is restricted by recesses in the edge of one cutting arm. By this the release of the wire is also counteracted. The foot of the clamp has from an edge between the two pairs of cutting arms a downward extending part for attachment of the wire clamp to a switch panel or a hole in a plate. The entire clamp is obtained and pressed out of a single sheet metal piece.
