Abstract

Material such as sand is moved by a large mesh grille frame (6) which is supported by spring blades (4), and which has a rearwardly projecting roller (13) which engages a rotary cam (8) which is driven through a pulley (11) and belt (12) driven through a motor (14). When the frame is moved from an equilibrium position it returns under the action of the spring blades, its movement being limited by stops (7) on the cam mounting post. The action of the frame causes sand to advance while waste packaging is left behind. The frame has interchangeable fine or large mesh grilles to suit different materials.
