Abstract

The sorting machine has a row of vertical containers (1) in which the slides (2) are horizontally stacked, each container receiving identical slides, which are replaced gradually as they are dispensed. The containers are located one after the other along an inclined surface, with a rail (7) parallel to the row of containers stepped (8a, 8b, 8c -- ) for each container, and onto which the dispensed slides are placed. The dispensing blades for each container are fixed to a distributor bar extending along the whole length of the machine, with a collection finger (13) deplaced along a groove in the rail (7) and mounted on a continuous drive chain (14).
