Abstract

The plastic clamp, for retaining cables to masonry, has a lower U-shaped support and an upper, hollow rectangular housing which slides over the arms of the lower part. The cable is laid between the arms of the lower part and rests in a shallow V at the base of the U. The upper part has a similar V which closes down on the cable clamping it in place. The upper part is driven downwards onto the lower part by a screw in its top. The thread of the screw engages with a thread cut into the curved surfacers on the insides of the arms of the U.
