Abstract
Tube walls are mutually in contact, and are in contact with the wall of a tube plate which closes the jacket; the plate wall has a shape complementary to that of the adjacent tubes. Pref. the tube ends are hexagonal square or rhombic. The tubes may also be introduced into partial intermediate walls of which part of the peripheral edge lies against the jacket inner wall. Tube end deformation results in forming a capillary interspace in tubes which are finally (hard) soldered in the tube plates.
