Abstract

The container sections can be metal or plastic to form a box shaped container. The sides of the box are fitted either with lips or grooves. Each pair of lips and grooves can be interlocked to form a rigid joint, which is obtained by springing the joints together. The lid section is hinged onto the back of the box. It is sufficient to fold the sections over one another once three sides of each section are released. The lips and grooves allow the transverse sides to be slid from the box. The front and rear side walls are hinged to the base so that the sides and base fold over each other when the transverse sides are removed.
