Abstract

Dyed leather is prepd. by surface dyeing with a different (opposing) colour to the core so that a cut section looks attractive. The attractive cut edges remove the need for delicate camouflaging in clothes mfr. If the core is black, the surfaces are dyed light; if the core is light, the surfaces are dyed dark.
