Abstract

The circuit has a primary inverter in which a power flow circulates between the outpout and input circuits. A second circuit operates the same way. The two input circuits being connected in parallel to an input supply being used to obtain the required output. The input supply uses a synchronous capacitor and has a frequency very much higher than that of the output of the two inverters. This arrangement removes much of the complexity and expense normally incurred due to the inherent harmonic content and parasitic oscillation requiring sophisticated filtering and also the need for large phase correction capacitors.
