Abstract

Two separate clamping parts are used to hold each arm of a bicycle's handle-bar to a cross-bar fastened to the top of the car. These parts are formed by a plastic block, made by injection casting, to which two long threaded stems are fitted on each side. To prevent their rotation its shape at the core of the block is altered. A cross-piece holds it to the cross-bar, and after placing the handle-bar between it and a top plastic block which slides onto the threaded stems, the four wing-nuts are fastened.
