Abstract

Process for simultaneously washing and feeding cupola gases to a recuperator comprises feeding the gases under the action of the liq. jet which washes them at a speed >2 - 10 times that of the gas before it is mixed with the liq. jet. The process avoids forming excess press or a depression in the gas feed path and removes the need for special aspirators or blowers.
