Abstract

Modular precast construction blocks are based on an H-shape. Variations give T, U and L shapes. Blocks have tongues on top and grooves underneath and the side faces have vert. semicircular section grooves. The cross pieces of the H-sections have a central vert. hole. The blocks are assembled using the bottom grooves and the tongues for correct location and the structures are locked together by rods passed through the aligned central holes and the holes formed by the semicircular section grooves when adjacent faces of the blocks are joined. The blocks may be used to produce easily demountable partition walls etc.
