Abstract

Calcium phosphate with a high absorptive power in the form of granules or compacted particles with a specific surface of 1.2-1.7 m.2/g. (granules or 3-3.5 m.2/g. (compacted particles), a macroporosity of 150-210 mm.3/g., an apparent density of 1.3-1.5 g./cm.3, and a total porosity of 200-350 mm.3/g., is esp. useful for use in animal feeds, for which it can be used in conjunction with liq. nutrients and medicaments, e.g. oils, molasses, binders, propylene glycol, etc.
