Abstract
NO is removed from gas by adding 5-21, esp. 12-21 vol.% O2 contacting the mixt. with active C at 0-70 degrees, esp. 30-50 degrees C, to adsorb the NO. The method is suitable for removing NO from waste gases from etching in HNO3 plants burners IC engines.
