Radical copolymsn. of di(meth)allylphthalates is effected by copolymsg. a mixt. comprising 50-99.9% diallyl and/or dimethallylphthalates with 50-0.1% allyl and/or methallyl 1-3C alkylesters of the same phthalic acids. Used in mfr. of mouldings esp. for optical applications (org. glasses). Prodts. have superior wipe- and scratch-resistance. No expensive purificn. of starting materials is required.
