Abstract
Probe to measure the moisture content in wells of mineral oil deposits consists of a capacitor which measures the dielectric constant of the liquid by letting it pass between the capacitor plates. These plates are represented either by concentric tubes (for measurements inside well tubing) or by one central electrode, held by a spacer at a distance from the well casing which acts as the second electrode.
