Abstract

Cake of toilet soap has at least a portion of its surface provided with localised, pointed projections which are intended to penetrate into the remains of another cake of soap which has been reduced to a soft consistency by used. The projections are formed by moulding when the soap is in the pasty state; once dry, the projections become very hard. The peaks have their max. height in the centre of the cake and they progressively diminish around the periphery where they merge into the general outline of the soap.
