Abstract

Flame cutting machine comprises a carriage on rails on which a torch is mounted. The carriage has adjustable traversing mechanisms and utilises heat-resistant rests with which it comes to rest on the casting. This occurs when the connection between the traversing mechanisms and the carriage, or the connection between the traversing mechanisms and the rails is partially or completely interrupted.
