Abstract

Appts. for prodn. of conical or beaker-shaped cakes, having a conveyor, pref. an endless belt, moving continuously at const. speed and carrying a series of longitudinally spaced moulds and cores fitting these, first core-manipulating devices are provided for the removal of the cores from the moulds and for their subsequent temporary storage on the conveyor, and second core-manipulating devices are provided downstream from the first devices for the removal of the cores from storage on the conveyor and their re-insertion in the moulds. Pref. core-storage elements are provided longitudinally along the conveyor, alternating with moulds.
