Abstract

External heat is applied to a boiler which contains a substantial mass of water which is raised to a temp. controlled by a thermostat regulating the source of external heat; the prod. is passed through a tube bundle inside the boiler water space, so that the prod. is brought to the same temp. as the mass of water. There is no danger of heat damage to the prod. and the boiler can supply hot water for other factory uses.
