Abstract

The block carries two sets of parallel bore, one set of which is closed off at the ends of the block. The bores of this set are interconnected by other bores at right angles which also communicate with the space within the outer shell. Facilitates fluid distribution esp. when the blocks are stacked, and reduces material exchange between the two fluids through the graphite.
