Abstract

Title medicament esp. for improving the capillary resistance and acting as antiinflammatory contains a synergistic combination of >=2 (pref. 4-20)pts. of cpd. (I): where R = 1-4C alkylene esp. CH2CH2 ("troxerutin") and 1 pt. of aescin, and additionally 0.05-0.3 (pref. 0.1-0.2)pts. of buphenin as vasodilator. Low toxicity permits wide variation of dosage. The antiinflammatory activity of aescin is increased 5-fold if combined with 10 times its weight of troxerutin.
