Abstract
The pH value, the redox potential, the specific electric conductivity and the temp. are measured simultaneously as well as the quantities of O2 and CO2. Appts. comprises a box which is divided into 2 chambers sepd. by a partition. The first, lower chamber is perforated and establishes contact with the liqs. to be studied; it houses the indicators which are mounted hermetically in bushes arranged in the partition. An electric switchboard is fitted in the second, dry chamber and connects the indicators to the instruments in a separate box. The various parameters are measured electrically. The part of the box surrounding the second chamber consists of a metal envelope to act as an electrostatic screen and to provided mechanical protection. Appts. can deal with static or flowing liqs. and is suitable for use in the continuous prodn. of white wines and champagne.
