Abstract

A pineapple topping machine has a revolving drum with semicircular recesses in which the pineapples are inserted from a hopper. Two rotating disc cutters work in separate slits in the drum which leave a central part between them. A concentric housing partly surrounds the drum and keeps the pineapples in their recesses.
