Abstract

Process for preparing a diorganotin S,S'-bis(thio-glycollate ester) (I) by continuously passing a diorganotin oxide and a thio-glycollic acid ester through a heat exchange zone and collecting the resulting (I). (I) are used as stabilisers for polyvinyl halide resins used in food packaging materials.
