Improved hygienic packaging for liq. foodstuff, partic. egg prodts., in solid, frozen state, is completely devoid of open or re-entrant seams, folds pleats or other crevices into which the liq. could enter and thus hold fast to the package when frozen; the liq. can be completely removed from its packet whilst still frozen, so their is no long delay while the prodt. thaws at ambient temp. before unpacking.
