Abstract
Process is where the surface is swept by luminous radiation. The light reflected by the surface is transformed into an electric signal, and the signal is used as a defect signal when its amplitude is > a preset amplitude. Each part of the surface is swept successively by >=1 luminous beam, the sweeps sepd. by a given period of time, and the signal from the first sweep retarded by the given period of time to put both signals into phase conformity, and a defect is not considered to be present unless both signal amplitudes are > the preset amplitude.
