The compsns contain 5-60% of a cpd. (I): (where X = F, Cl or Br, Y = H, F, Cl or Br, R = H, halogen, NO2 or Z = branched >=3C alkyl, or cycloalkyl), together with 5-60%, 'Rufol'(2-sulphanilamido-5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole and/or 'Nibiol'(5-nitro-8-hydroxy quinoline). The compsns. are partic. useful in the treatment of urinary tract infections.
