Abstract

Insulated magnet wire for use in stators/rotors of dynamos has a first helical winding of insulating material wound around the magnet wire in a first peripheral direction, this winding being wound over itself in overlying relation so that each winding lies >50% over the previous winding. Excellent protection against high temps. solvents and moisture is given.
