Abstract

Plant is intended for feeding a distributor of rusks or toasted bread; it comprises a conveyor for bringing the rows of sliced bread under the gripping and pushing components of a transfer head. The conveyor belt is driven in a discontinuous, step by step movement; the direction of this belt is perpendicular to that of the belt of the distributor which delivers the slices to the moving floor of the oven. The transfer plant is chiefly for use in the automatic feeding of cooking ovens and for feeding wrapping machines for sliced sandwich loaves.
