Abstract

In the electroplating of components, esp. selected surface regions of semiconductors, in which electrolyte is allowed to flow at constant head to the component, the electrolyte is divided into 'n' streams which flow through air-tight channels of size and shape matching those of the selected regions and are carried to the component to be plated in such a way that they are perpendicular to the selected regions and isolated from the remainder of the surface of the component.
