Abstract

Vitrified porcelain enamel, with semi-matte surface, which can oxidize organic stains dispersed on the enamel, at 177-316 degrees C, the enamel being formed from a frit contng. homogeneously fused throughout its mass, at least one oxidation - providing oxide, being an oxide of one or more of Co, Mn, Cu, and Cr, totalling 10-70 wt. % of the frit; the frit being thermically treated at between 538 degrees C and 139 above the point at which it is scratched by Al.
