Abstract

Each glove box has mounted on its side a flanged main cylinder which when joined to its neighbour or to an intermediate tube forms a channel between the two enclosures and having external to the enclosure a branch pipe capped by a filter. Within the junction piece is a rotatable bush with a radial orifice of the same dia as the branch pipe and an operating lever. The system is completed by a sealing plug for the enclosure end of the bush and a conventional pneumatic tube conveyor capsule.
