Phenylurea derivs. of formula (I), their salts with acids, and their quaternary ammonium salts: (where X is H, halogen, CF3, NO2, NH2, dialkylamino, acyloxy, OH, or lower alkyl, alkoxy, alkylmercapto or alkanoyl; R is H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, cycloalkyl, X-substd. phenyl or X-substd. phenylakyl; R' and R2 are H, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, monocyclic aryl or lower alkylaryl, or NR'R2 is 13C satd. 5- to 7-membered monocyclic heterocyclyl; n is 1, 2,3 or 4; A is lower alkylene; is a 13C basic N-contg.residue; and Y is O, S, SO, SO2 or methylene). Antiarrhythmics which can be used in the same way as procainamide.
