Polyether polyol has mol. wt. 700-10000. and Cl-content 20-50 wt. % the Cl being present as CCl3- gps. which are pendant to the polymer chain. Used in prodn. of flame-resistant polyurethanes having good flexibility and resistance to hydrolysis.
