Abstract
The movements necessary to complete a solvent extraction operation of organic substances can be used for completing several operations at once. A row of flasks contg. the solvent release their contents into flasks below by the operation of a single lever. The flasks contg. the liquid with organic substances and solvent are agitated by paddles all driven by a single motor. After agitation the flasks are tipped by a single lever to discharge their contents into bottles located below where the two layers separate out; one is liquid and the other the solvent contg. the organic substances.
