Abstract

Machine is intended for use with green fodder, long fibred vegetable elements and with the flour obtd. from vegetable grains. It includes an agglomeration turbine and at least one chopper turbine, this consists of two pinions with a variable distance between centres, the teeth engage in each other and cut up any material caught between the meshed teeth. Both turbines are housed in a pulsed air oven which is heated to a temp. higher than that necessary to vaporise the water contained in the material to be agglomerated. The fodder can be dried directly it is mown, without regard to the weather, at the same time it retains its nutritive value, after agglomeration. The first turbine receives the prod. to be dried and feeds a number of square rotating drying tubes located inside the oven. The dried prod. finally reaches the agglomeration turbine, it passes through the axial extrusion channels into the ejection gutters.
