Abstract

Textiles, particularly Nylon (RTM) hosiery, are wet treated in stacks by placing them in an air-permeable container and immersing this in the fluid. The articles remain in the container, which remains stationary, during treatment. The fluid may be a dye, a bleaching agent or a washing agent and the container is pref. held by a supporting framework which enables the fluid to pass through the container and through the material of which the articles are made.
